SUNDAY: KUSADASI, TURKEY
At 08:00 our cruise-ship docks at Kusadasi in Turkey, starting point for our included shore-excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus, where the Apostle Paul preached and lived for three years (Acts 18:19-21). Visit the Odeon, the magnificent Library of Celsus, the Agora, as well as the Great Theatre, built in the 4th century BC., famous even nowadays for its acoustics. At 18:30 sail back to Rhodes, Greece. All meals and overnight on board.
MONDAY: RHODES, GREECE
At 07:30 our cruise-ship docks in Rhodes. Enjoy the included organized morning guided excursion to Lindos, situated 55 km (40 miles) from the town of Rhodes, where we visit the ruins of the Acropolis of Lindos with the ancient Temple of Athena, built in 300 BC. In the center of the village you will find the Church of the Virgin Mary (Panagia) of Lindos, with frescoes from the 15th century. In the medieval walled town of Rhodes you will walk through D’Amboise Gate to the Street of the Knights. Along this street you will find the residences of the Knights, separated according to Order, which bear until today their corresponding crests. Lunch on board. Sail to Santorini at 18:30. Dinner & overnight on board ship.
TUESDAY: SANTORINI, GREECE
At 07:30 arrive in Santorini (disembarkation by tender-boats, sea & weather permitting). Join the optional shore-excursion to visit Oia Village, where we stroll through the marble-paved alleys, we see the famous blue domed churches and gaze at the cute little boutiques and take breathtaking pictures or take the cable-car up to the town of Fira, perched high on the rim of the ancient volcano. Free time for taking photos, browsing, shopping and enjoying the breathtaking view of the caldera. At 22:30 depart to Lavrio. All meals and overnight on board.
WEDNESDAY: LAVRIO, GREECE & MYKONOS, GREECE
At 06:30 arrive in Lavrio which is known for ancient industry and silver-mining. Lavrio’s marina, beaches and mineral museum attract groups with time to explore, but even a fleeting visit leaves an impression. Meet restauranteurs boasting locally caught octopus and stuffed squid, and Taverna hosts who welcome you like a friend returning from sea.
Sail at 13:30 to Mykonos.
At 17:30 we arrive in Mykonos. Enjoy your evening exploring the pebbled streets of cosmopolitan Chora and “Little Venice”. Sail at 02:30 am to Milos. All meals and overnight on board.
THURSDAY: MILOS, GREECE
At 07:30 arrive at Milos. This island is a geological marvel and home to the biggest selection of diverse and beautiful beaches in the Cyclades, some of them formed by ancient volcanoes. Enjoy the unique landscape of Sarakiniko beach, the town of Plaka, the harbor of Adamas or join one of the optional excursions to explore the islands be and take a tour at the mining museum or visit the Church of Panagia Thalassitra. At 18:30 sail to Agios Nikolaos, Crete.
FRIDAY: AGIOS NIKOLAOS CRETE
At 07:30 arrive at Agios Nikolaos, Crete. The charming resort town overlooking the bay of Mirabello. Enjoy walking around the distinct waterfront areas or join one of the optional excursions. Sail at 17:30 to Piraeus. All meals and overnight on board.
SATURDAY: PIRAEUS (ATHENS), GREECE
At 06:00 arrive at the port of Piraeus. Disembarkation after breakfast.
